I have some very exciting news. Firstly check out the Paul Jones show on BBC iPlayer.  Paul played “HOLDIN ON WITH BOTH HANDS”

He has been describing “Slap My Hand” as one of the albums of the year.

I have also been on to in Europe with the Earthband. It went extremely well, even if I say so myself. I had a great time and a lot of fun playing for all the Earthband fans.

Never one to sit around we has just done the British Arena tour with Status Quo. Another great success. The audiences were outstanding. I have to say as well the Quo boys are a really cool bunch and I had a blast being part of that tour. Cheers guys, a real pleasure to work with.

Busy, busy busy. I have just this second got back from doing 5 shows in Norway and Sweden. Where do I find the time?

Now this is very exciting.
The DVD of the “Slap My Hand” tour is released in March. It has a ton of great stuff with a lot of highlight of the tours. It has a wicked version of Chameleon [Herbie Hancock] with the great Paul Jackson on bass.

“SLAP MY HAND” is released in the UK on March 3rd 2009.
Look out for it...lastly, thanks for supporting this music.

I have just returned from japan and I have to say it was a great success.
We had sell out shows at Billboard Tokyo and Osaka.
We also played at Diamond Hall, Nagoya. The audience where fantastic. The seem to have a great time and listened to every note. Of course Char , Paul & Koji where amazing, you never get anything less from the guys.
Micky played 4 songs the crowd really loved him. During the shows Char and Micky traded solos, what a fantastic set of shows we had. "Slap My Hand" got number 16 on international chart and number 14 on domestic charts. We have recorded some live footage so we can do a DVD and album of " Slap My Hand " tour. All the shows were recorded. We will be going to mix it later this summer. All in all a fantastic time.

My other news is that I am very proud to have worked on the Martin Page album " IN THE TEMPLE OF THE MUSE"
http://www.martinpage.com or http://www.myspace.com/martinpage. I played on Martins " In the House Of Stone And Light " album, and I have to say I feel it`s some of the best music I have ever played. I shared one track with Phil Collins. I played the groove Phil played the fills.

So for now, Im back on the road doing festivals in Europe this summer with the Earthband.
I hope you come along to some of the shows, I hope to see you there. Cheers Jimbo.
